Plasma TV Owners: How did you brace your wall to hang the unit? - plasma wall mount instructions
Recently, I had turned a 50 "Plasma TV Panasonic (TH-50PX60U) with a Sanus Flat Panel TV Mount (VMSAs), which tilts and swivels. The instructions for mounting the TV says the barrier needs to be able to 5 -- times the weight of the treated plasma TV, and the actual weight of the frame. This is about 550 pounds. How the hell can I fix my built wall safe the situation? We live in an old house with walls and I like it hanging over the fireplace. Can you give me some advice? Thank you!

First things first, I seriously doubt that the MFG. TV-TV, unless it is satisfied to hang over the fireplace. I know you see all these beautiful pictures of TV households, but can not handle the heat, most have an automatic stop when they reach a given temperature.
The Constitution of the walls have studs around the chimney, no wood, hopefully, you have to find the nails and the weight of which they speak, they must be screwed hit three pins and a retaining wall and support must amount to at least two 3 " lay bolts in each bolt.
The bar on the wall is probably wooden slats on the spread of pasta, I've seen situations where the owner opened the wall to expose the nails, and attached 3 / 4 "in contradiction to the amount of all plated pins could support the charge distribution on the bodies. This timber could be finished to fit on the wall.
Also to be considered carefully, MFG. Recommendations for fireplaces.
