Mount Shallow-marine with a shorter stroke, so that it moves less air to lead to a lower volume. But because the process can move cones, at least, more power with less distortion. So really, it depends on your preferences. But if I were you, I would like to avoid the mounting surface, if you are looking for higher yielding brands like Polk Audio and Rockford Fosgate.
