How does sound quality compare between a 3.5mm input and phono? - is phono cable the same as s/pdif
My old HI-fi broke and is not currently available. I get to save a replacement, but not the same model. I used mainly as amplifiers of different sources with a phono input.
Models of possible replacement of the item better than 3.5 mm audio. Had to use an RCA cable 3.5 mm. N 3.5-mm inputs tend to have the same quality? Not only the quality of the cables and connectors are dependent is not important?

In general, you will not see the difference. The signal is the same. I say go for it.
